When you touch a SmartTag with your NFC-enabled Xperia™ or other Android smartphone, an event (customizable) comprised of a set of actions is carried out. For example, your Car SmartTag NT1 could initiate GPS, Google™ navigation,start up your music player, activate Bluetooth™ and increase ringtone volume.You could also use the Active SmartTag to prepare your phone for your run or workout by initiating your favorite fitness app, music player and other functions.One touch. Ready to go.
Pre-defined or customized
Pre-configured SmartTags make life easy.With Smart Connect (Android app) you can customize exactly which actions are initiated when you touch your SmartTag with your NFC smartphone. It is possible to include up to 10 actions.

Play (green) – Loud ringtone volume, media volume level set to 80%, open a browser window to the URL specified, post to Facebook Timeline
Watch (purple) – Loud ringtone volume, media volume level set to 80%, Wi-Fi on, YouTube application open, post to Facebook Timeline
